Requirements:
- Recognized TESL/TESOL qualification and higher education
- College/University teaching experience will be an added advantage
- Cultural awareness

Salary range : US18, 000 - US$30, 000/year (based on qualification and experience)

Lecturers are required to teach in both the ADP and components of Intensive English Program. Those with relevant qualification and experience teaching English to non-native English speakers and willing to be relocated are encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants will be hired up to a two (2) year contract. Contracts may be renewed. Economoy airfare will be reimbursed for one round trip per contract from the point of origin to Kuala Lumpur. Free in-house accommodation will be provided.

It does not matter whether you are teaching ESL or normal daily life experiences. We will always come across something difficult in our day. In this case, our class. There is no perfect situation when it comes to teaching anything. The difference with ESL students is that it may be difficult to help them to understand the lesson you are trying to teach. Teamwork, utilizing all tools at your disposal and as always, patience!!Finding out what level students are at when beginning a course helps to put them in the adequate classes to help them progress. Having other tests to gauge their progress is also good to see where a teacher is succeeding, to give students a score so they can gauge their progress and see where their efforts have paid off. I was also not familiar with all the external exams there are, and this unit gave a nice breakdown of it.
