Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson touched on the more subtle aspects of teaching that may not be obvious to a first-time teacher. Things like eye-contact and arrangement of rooms can go a long way in helping run an effective class while requiring minimal work by the teacher. I learned about specific behaviors I should take or avoid while in the classroom, and I learned some great tips for maintaining discipline within the classroom.I learnt to differentiate the good characteristics of a teacher/learner from the bad ones. I now know which roles are important to assume as a teacher during lessons and how to learn a student's language level and understand his/her motivation to study English. Thanks to the two videos, I am now able to see how much a fun and interactive activity improves a learning experience and makes for more engaged students.
