Position: English Teacher (EFL/ESL)
Workload: 25 teaching hours per week (1 hour = 60 minutes)
Responsibilities:
Teach English to children, teens, or adults (depending on placement)
Deliver lessons aligned with CEFR (A1–C1) and IB methodology
Use communicative, interactive, and student-centered teaching approaches
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to extracurricular and cultural school activities
Collaborate with Arkon’s international and local teaching team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (education, linguistics, or related field preferred)
TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certification (minimum 120 hours)
For non-native speakers: TOEFL iBT (95+) or IELTS Academic (7.0+) required
Experience in IB schools (PYP, MYP, DP) is highly preferred
Teaching experience strongly preferred (motivated new teachers also welcome)
Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Willingness to relocate and work in Tajikistan
