Do you want to use your TEFL skills to help others? New Hope for Cambodian Children (NHCC) is a non-profit organization that cares for 1,400 children with HIV through medical and educational initiatives. Our organization is set just outside of Phnom Penh, in Cambodia and we are currently working with 14 teachers full-time. We provide housing, dining and other amenities (private house with queen bed, private refrigerator, AC, Wi-Fi) for the teachers, along with a salary. The teaching positions hold for one full school year minimum and teachers have the chance to work with children of all ages. For more information, contact us via email at the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit broke down sentence structure and went into great detail about what makes up a sentence in the English language. It covered everything from nouns all down to the prepositions and conjunctions. It explained the difference's between adjectives and adverbs. While working through this unit it definitely made me realize just how difficult the English language is to learn and even teach.Dividing course material into 3 general categories of created, authentic, and course book is a concise and easy way for teachers to look at how they want to approach lesson planning. I especially liked the telephone role play materials provided, as from my experience students gain a lot of confidence from role-play activities as they are generally working collaboratively to create a product.
