Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

There are four aspects of Past Tense: simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. First, forms and usages should be explained to students in details. Secondly, some extra attention must be paid to the Past Simple forms of irregular verbs and their Past Participles. In addition to that, a lot of students tend to mix the Past Perfect/Past Perfect Continuous Tenses, thus some extra work is recommended on this topic.Throughout this lesson, I learned more about lesson planning and the structure of creating a lesson. I will say that I found this test challenging and not very related to the pdf file. The specific lesson plan questions seemed needless complicated and unneeded. I know a lot about lesson planning and took 3 full courses on it through my undergraduate career and I found this lesson kind of difficult in regards to the exam.
