Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The future tense is very complex. There are many different tenses and ideas. Future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going and infinitive, present simple and present continuous. The teaching ideas in the unit are very useful, like making holiday/birthday plans, going to the game, itinerary form a courier, make predictions based on evidence are very interesting. This was an informative unit that covers receptive skills: reading and listening, which are equally as important for teaching! You cannot just ignore teaching these as they help the students understand the materials they are reading. Make sure to choose texts and materials based on what students like and that are on their language level so it's easier to understand and does not discourage the students.
