Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit module, I learned about the various types of classes/learners that I might encounter while teaching abroad. This ranges from early learners (aka children), to specialized learners - i.e. some company hiring an English teacher for their staff. The module goes into some details about how to go about teaching these various groups, including some problems or issues that may arise with each.Unit 9 was extremely informative in terms of constructing an effective lesson plan. The sample lesson plan that the course provides shows a very helpful framework and serves as an effective aid to the teacher in regards to the elements that need to be included in a lesson plan as well as the importance placed on being flexible at the same time in order to address the needs of the student's learning.
