This Unit provides us with the most common options for it as well as an overview of external exams and certifications. Especially placement, progress and diagnostic tests are important to see where the students are at and in which class they should be.As pronunciation and phonology is indeed the most neglected part of my teaching, I enjoyed learning about this unit. From a refresher of phonology and pronunciations, to suggestions on how to teach them, this unit is particularly useful. I think I would like to try teaching phonology speech and drama style. I would also be mindful to use my own mouth shape as modelling for students.
