The ITTT Teaching of English to Young Learners course aims to be different. They feel that their courses and the material within them should challenge and question the norms of thinking.
ITTT aims to develop critical and analytical thinkers.I will likely be teaching older students, so I will have to use a plethora of techniques to teach effectively. My first impulse would be to over-correct a student, but I would have to ease up a little bit on this, especially during the engage phase. I will likely also be working with adults that do not know the language as well, so I will have to follow the boomerang approach.
