English Grammar - Present Continuous - Teaching Ideas 2

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit was very interesting and useful. I learnt a lot about classroom organization, how to use your body language during a class, how to distribute correctly Teachers talking time and students talking time. I also find suggestions how to manage with problem behaviour very interesting. In addition I learnt about advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of grouping students. In this lesson I learned about the different types of tests that we can give our students. This was a very interesting unit. I was not aware of the different types of tests we can give in order to test our students progress and language level. I will use tests as a tool to better gauge my students knowledge and ability through this in order to improve and make changed in my class.
