Have fun in Vietnam using your TEFL qualification. American Paradise Camp (APC) is Vietnam’s first international English language summer camp for children between the ages of 8 and 16. We are looking for Camp Counselors to join us in a full time summer seasonal position that will happen from June 10th – August 10th. APC offers over 30 different activities to choose from in water activities, sports, and creative and performing arts. Our program provides plenty of opportunities for children of all ages and interests to have a great time and to learn new skills and make new friends from around the world. We are located on beautiful beach front property on the South China Sea in Phan Thiet. Our Goal is to provide children with a safe, exciting, and active summer experience, while they learn new skills and improve their English in a truly international community.
As a counselor you will be required to teach, lead, and be a friend to a group of children aged anywhere from eight to sixteen. The primary responsibility is to ensure the children’s safety and well-being and to help make the children’s camp experience fun and rewarding. The tasks usually include planning, leading, and joining in activities. The daily routine will include leading a cabin group of 6-8 children and during the day teaching some our various activities. All counselors perform a wide variety of duties with children, and each day brings something new. Counselors live in cabins and eat meals with children and often spend 24 hours a day for nine weeks with them. It is a very demanding yet very rewarding experience.
Counselors will receive $180USD/ week plus room and board while they are at camp. We can provide transportation from Ho Chi Minh City to the site of camp. Also we will help you throughout the visa process. We look forward to seeing you on our beach paradise!
