We employ a proprietary learning system that assumes most global executives understand a lot more English than they speak.

The objective is to accelerate the client's verbal expression by initially working on self-confidence, intonation, pronunciation, and the linguistic structures of most business interactions. The second phase of the system concentrates on the key grammatical structures that can improve the client s expression.

Coaches work at client s offices, typically in early mornings, mid-days and late afternoons.

Sessions can be one-on-one or with teams of up to seven participants, and last one and half hours.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

 

In the first lesson it is very important to get to know your students, find out about their goals and motivations to help them. Games for introduction are useful, the students may have questions for the teacher too, (e.g their country or culture). It is also very important to find out the language level of each student. Pairing weaker and stronger students is an effective way to increase student talk time and help them bond.This lesson was about the various different groups that an english teacher will find when teaching English as a second language. It made the distinction between several groups and explained their similarities and peculiarities. In addition, it gave a good example of the type of activities that one can do with his or her class. In the next few weeks, I hope to use what I have learned and incorporate it in my lessons in China.
