Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered various qualities found in good teachers and good learners, the different roles a teacher may have in the classroom through the course of a lesson, and the classifications and characteristics of different learning levels. This unit enabled me to think specifically about the roles I take when teaching and when best to employ particular roles in order to teach more effectively.Teachers always must contextualize their teaching depending on their student’s needs, that is why it is important to firstable, get to know your students through different technics such as: placement and diagnostic test or a “needs analysis”. Having special groups such as kids or business students just means that the teacher must prepare more then with “common” groups.
