This unit was a good review of the use of authentic and non-authentic materials as well lesson planning studied in the previous course, particularly in the context of younger learners and the employment of the Engage and Practice methodology. The tips on book resources and internet use and references were good to bear in mind for future lesson planning as were considerations for Classroom Management.This unit covered all forms of past tense. It went into detail on past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. It is important to know the different forms to field questions, speak properly, and to direct the class discussions with correct grammar. Highlighting the irregular verbs is important as it could be a helpful class activity as the words will need to be memorized.
