Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

When introducing new language and language functions a teacher should use different methods. One of the methods is through the picture or familiar vocabulary. When students learn new vocabulary they should know the meaning of the word, it's spelling, pronunciation and usage. Learning new vocabulary could be difficult due to the differences in the native language of the students.I learned that there is going to be continuous learning when it comes to grammar because even though I am a native speaker, I still find difficulty in some of the English grammar that I have to learn. This will definitely contribute to me understanding the students issues with learning some of this material and allow me to extend support and understanding where difficulty may arise.
