"Ok. What about compensation etc.?"
We start teachers at NT$580/hour for teaching adults or pre-schoolers and NT$590/hour for teaching children.

"What do I need to be considered?"
A. Must have a valid passport from the U.S.,U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. Please do not apply if your passport is not issued by one of these countries as we will not be able to sponsor you for a work permit for teaching English.
B. Must have at least a BA/BSc. degree in any discipline. A TEFL/TESOL certificate is a definite plus.
C. Must have a clear and articulate speaking voice.
D. Must be willing to make at least a one-year commitment.
KOJEN's ideal candidate would be outgoing, professional, and willing to experiment with ideas. We are looking for people with at least 6 months teaching experience. Of course, additional training such as a MATESOL, CELTA, TEFL/TESOL will certainly be looked upon favorably.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
Most of the teachers don't teach pronunciation or just say it when they hear a wrong word. In english phonetic alphabet each sound has different locations and manners. We can teach the alphabet by using some techniques. these techniques are: tongue twisters,drawing on the board,showing on our mouth etc. Even if we study more about pronunciation,its not possible for us to sound like a native speaker.I learned the various roles of teachers should employ in class, and what roles to apply in certain circumstances, because teachers need to switch roles in order to meet the requirements of each class activities.
I also acknowledged the points of good learners, and how to motivate different age period of students, it helps me to better understand the learners and to provide better support in classes.
