Paid internships currently available in Seville, Spain
The program is a 3-month paid internship in Seville. It is funded by the government, so there are no fees to pay, but applicants do need to complete a few tasks to obtain certification.
Applicants can choose from 2 different programs: Teaching positions (TEFL students do that normally, but people who want to become a teacher do it too) and Community Development (where participants work at food banks, community gardens, projects, etc)
Applicants will choose between either a Level 3 Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages (ELTAB) or Level 3 Community Development Certificate.
They offer 13-week (90-day), fully funded internships based in different schools and academies in Seville.
Positions are open to anyone between 18-64 years of age looking to expand their skills and enhance their future employability.
The programme is designed for those who have little or no experience teaching English but have recently completed a TEFL/CELTA (or similar qualification) or have a desire to become a teacher. We ask people not to apply if they have lots of previous teaching experience. The placements are a great way to broaden future employment possibilities in academies in Seville.
To be eligible, applicants must currently reside within the United Kingdom and have the right to live and work in the UK and Spain.
Participants will receive:
• Free accommodation including utilities (private bedroom in a flatshare with other programme participants)
• Free outbound and return flights
• Travel Insurance
• Weekly Spanish language classes
• £100 per week subsistence allowance (to cover food and local travel costs)
• Vocational course and certification (costs covered)
Participants will also have to do some online tasks for their certification and enrolment.
