We are a Cambridge English Premium Preparation Centre and we have vacancies for motivated and qualified EFL teachers, from September 2021 to June 2022. To teach between 18 and 24 hours a week to students aged 8/9 to adults. One-to-one lessons are also available. We offer a renewable contract and paid holidays. Help with accommodation. We are a British-owned well established school which specialises exclusively in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Class size is small, with a maximum of 12 students per class(smaller class sizes if Covid-19 regulations are in force) .We teach Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday. Weekends are free! The school is fully air-conditioned and has wi-fi internet access. We are an official Cambridge English Premium Exam Preparation Centre and enter candidates for all levels: YLE to CPE. We offer the opportunity for professional development, which includes observation, conference attendance and research. All teachers receive continual support from the director of studies. Temporary accommodation is arranged and assistance finding permanent accommodation is also given.

Location:
Linares is the second city in the province of Jaén and has a population of about 57,000 inhabitants. The cost of living is low. Linares has very good free tapas, a range of modern shops, and one of the biggest parks in the province. Linares is also well located for visits to the following cities: Cordoba- 1hr, Granada- 1hr 15 mins, Seville and Malaga- 2hrs 15 mins and Madrid- 3 hrs , Jaén 30 mins (times shown are by car).
Qualifications
* TEFL Certificate essential. CELTYL or similar Teaching Young Learners qualification is an advantage.
* University Degree preferable
* Minimum 1 year's teaching experience preferred and experience with Cambridge exams is desirable.
* Working knowledge of Spanish is valued.
* Must be prepared to teach children as well as adults.
* A willingness to develop professionally.
* Must have a native level of English.
* Non EU citizens must have a valid EU work permit.
Salary and Benefits
Good starting salary.
Paid holidays: Two weeks at Christmas and one week at Easter. Paid local and bank holidays.
Initial contract from September to June.
