Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I have learned the various classroom equipment and teaching aids. The most common equipment are the boards (whiteboards, blackboards, interactive boards), the overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets, work cards, CD players, VCDs and DVDs, cassette recorder, etc. I have learned the advantages and disadvantages of using each of these equipment. I have also learned how and when to use them. The information in this unit included things that I use in my daily language; yet I don't think twice about why or how I use this grammar. Modals, and different voices (active & passive) are things that I use without paying much mind. I was shown the uses, the point in time, and the auxilary. its very interesting to me to take notice that this information is vital to teaching grammar and language properly.
