Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
Unit 11 covered the two receptive skills- reading and listening.it explored motivations for reading and listening as well as what could affect the learning of these skills. There was an ESA lesson plan which I found very useful in understanding and thinking of ways to teach them. The unit outlined ways of absorbing information which I had not thought of conceptually very much and so it was helpful to me to see it laid out in this way.With the advent of technologies, electronic equipments have made our lives easier in every way, black boards with chalk usage is outdated and replaced by sophisticated equipments which are easier to use, manage, less time consuming, more productive, interesting and helps to keep the focus of the students in class activities throughout the time frame. It has made the life and role of teachers easier and more comprehensive for students.
