Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit explains resources used in the classroom like course books and lesson materials. Many sample worksheets were revealed in this chapter and I've like the role play cards the most. I'm also a teacher that uses course books as a guide, however I also add my creative ideas onto my lessons. As a teacher, having a well established curriculum is important because it guides me in teaching targets skills the students need. While reading this unit I've learned about the different stages of teaching, engage - study - activate. It is important to know which stages you want to go through in each class. Each stage must be prepared accordingly so the teacher can be ready for questions or problems that may arise in the lesson. These stages are important to bring balance to a classroom and for the studends to practice different aspects of the material.
