Akademia Zakow is a Primary School in Bielsko-Biala, south of Poland. We are looking for a friendly and experienced TEFL certified English native level speaker who will work with children from September 2015 to June 2016. It is a full time post - about 12 to 16 hours per week with a contract.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The unit 4 was about teaching materials. The lesson gave examples and explained about authentic and non-authentic materials. It emphasized the importance of having a lesson plan and showed one example of it. I also learned about course books and its advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, the unit discussed about classroom management and presented many useful websites to improve my teaching.In this unit I learnt about teaching equipment and how it is utilized in the classroom. All units or classrooms should include some sort of board for illustrations and effects learning. Lesson plans come in to part when using a board in order to effectively use the space and be organized with out to many things on the board which could lead to confusion when at a certain point in the lesson.
