Kiwi English Academy is a small to medium size NZ owned language school . We are located in Newmarket and provide quality education to International students. We also run High School Preparation courses.
We are looking for a relief teacher to teach part time / full time. This is a temporary position (until Christmas) but could lead to a more permanent position.
Minimum requirements: BA, TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, experience and enthusiasm
Hourly Rate: $25.00- $ 30.00

There are many types of classes levels which require different types of skills to teach. It is important for the teacher to adapt accordingly to match the type, level and/or age of the students. The most important thing I have learnt in this unit is that when teaching business English it isn’t important to know the company’s filed as the teacher Is there to teach English and not what the company does.As usual with these lessons, the examples given are very beneficial. In this case, the examples of each phase in a lesson outline form where particularly helpful because they helped me see what was actually expected from me as a new teacher. Lesson plans written out like the examples would also help me if I needed to ever cover a class for another teacher because I would know what I needed to do for the lesson.
