Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit finishes covering the common English grammar that you will teach in the EFL. It also focuses on problems that may arise because they want you to be prepared and ready for what questions could come at you. Part of this unit focuses on modal auxiliary verbs which are verbs that add meaning to the main verb. Good ways to teach modal auxiliary verbs are through role-plays, rules and signs. This unit has taught me how important grammar is in the main structure of the English Langague and how vocabulary enriches each sentence. This unit also has encorporated the ESA teaching technique and has given examples how functions, grammar and vocabulary can be taught using this structure. It has also covered teachability in the sense that one must adapt each lesson to the level of the students.
