Education Experts Company (Riyadh) has several openings for EFL Instructors (men and women) for the 2013-2014 academic years.

Required Qualifications

• Native speaker of English from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand

• 120 hour in-class TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (or relevant degree)

• Bachelors degree in relevant field (English Language Teaching, ESL education, linguistics, TESOL, etc.); degrees in other areas considered with appropriate EFL/ESL certification and experience (no online certifications)

• MA/PhD (and other advanced graduate degrees) highly desirable and given priority (no online certifications)

• 2 years ESL teaching experience (private tuition, voluntary and teacher assistant positions will not be considered)

• Middle East/Gulf experience a plus

• Special capabilities like ESL management, ESL supervisory experience and program assessment are highly valued

This unit finishes covering the common English grammar that you will teach in the EFL. It also focuses on problems that may arise because they want you to be prepared and ready for what questions could come at you. Part of this unit focuses on modal auxiliary verbs which are verbs that add meaning to the main verb. Good ways to teach modal auxiliary verbs are through role-plays, rules and signs.This unit has taught me how important grammar is in the main structure of the English Langague and how vocabulary enriches each sentence. This unit also has encorporated the ESA teaching technique and has given examples how functions, grammar and vocabulary can be taught using this structure. It has also covered teachability in the sense that one must adapt each lesson to the level of the students.
