Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit Nine covered lesson planning, which I am grateful for. Having worked in a preschool in the past, I have experience in classroom management but never had to make a lesson plan. Lesson planning is vital for keeping a teacher on target and having a visual for how the lesson should go. It is important to be flexible with a lesson plan, but also allow the plan to help a teacher be organized and prepared for class. In this unit my mind was opened to the ESA way of teaching. i also learnt a lot about how correcting mistakes and errors without scaring or intimidating students. i saw there are truly many ways to structure the lessons and its important to use different techniques so that your lessons don't get boring. There are tons of activities available and choosing the correct ones is key due to different levels of students.
