Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discussed the use of a course book. It helped identify areas where a course book is helpful and where it may fall short to the needs of the class. I greatly appreciated the explanation of how to choose a useful course book as well as a list of pros and cons. This saved us teachers the work of figuring it out ourselves and helped us to be more affective teachers from the start. This lesson helped to experience the delivery of a lesson in the classroom. Through this, I learned how the attitude of a teacher can either help to encourage or discourage participation from students. In the first video, the bad posture of the teacher clearly intimidated the students and discouraged them from getting involved in the lesson. But this wasn't the case in the second video.
