Opportunities Teaching TEFL in Latin America

From this I learned that there is more to teaching than just knowledge about the subject. As a teacher you have a real responsibility, to insure that the students will progress and stay motivated. It starts with yourself as a teacher and what you do in the classroom. Also, different people and ages require a different approach. Therefore getting to know the students is desireable to help them progress further.Identifying Student issues is something one needs to become adept at, and this lesson has given me a good foundation. This unit I was introduced to tools and teaching ideas that should help to not only recognize but also predict problems that a student may be having without even telling me. The way to set up a class is a new idea and I will need to give it more thought concerning my own students in the future.
