Teacher must use a great deal of psychology. You can't force students to participate if you don't give them a compelling reason to do so. One of the ways to achieve this is to acknowledge individual student's needs and to establish rapport. To often, new teachers really too heavily, if not entirely on the course manual. In fact during the first class, the teacher should not use it at all. This unit teaches us the five conditionals, what are their forms and usages, how can we use in the activity. Besides it teaches the reported forms and usages as examples as well. Usually we just need to change the present tense to the corresponding past tense. But there are three exceptions: past simple, past continuous and when fact being reported. All these are divided and taught clearly.
