Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered modal verbs, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. All of these types of grammar are important because they are common in speech and written text. Also they allow people to do a wider variety of things with language, such as ask permission or show uncertainty. They are important to know and this unit has helped me further understand the grammar behind these three topics. This unit focused on books and materials so it gave me a good understanding of what teaching materials I could use when teaching a class. I have learnt about authentic materials and created materials and how each one is beneficial. I have also learnt about course books and about the disadvantages and advantages to using them also how to analyse course books and the best uses for them.
