Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this lesson I got exposed to useful reading and writing teaching tips. As an assistant English teacher of Japanese high school students, it recognised immediately that my students handwriting abilities were lagging, and to be honest (as meantioned itn the lesson) teaching my students how to write was not a priority. Moving forward, I will be incorporating writng excercises in my lessons. This unit is extremely important as it explains which vocabulary to teach students and how to do it. Vocabulary is a pillar of all languages, without it you cannot express yourself effectively and others will have a difficult time understanding you. Parts of being able to immerge yourself in a new culture is to get along with the natives and the appropriate vocabulary will help you do that.
