Oftentimes, I have had some difficulty planning the particular order of certain types of lessons, and this lesson has provided some useful structures for planning different types of lesson, with plenty of modularity and adjustments therein. I especially appreciate the various types of game and activity examples provided, because I sometimes struggle with finding appropriate starting exercises for different levels of class.I teach in a region where materials are hard to come by and basically, I rely on created materials for teaching my students. In this unit, I have learnt about the differences between authentic and created materials, advantages and disadvantages of resource books, course books and the best ways of making use of them. I also learnt about how the different types of visual aids can enhance students talking time during lessons.
