Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

During this lesson I practiced brainstorming different engaging activities to encourage students to use their productive skills. This lesson provided a great explanation of when to use accuracy activities (study phase) verses using fluency activities (activate phase). I now know how to use accuracy techniques to create confidence with students before we move on to fluency portion of the lesson. In this unit, I learned and read about Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence. I can see how all these 8 theories and methods are included inside the classroom. In addition, I like that the lesson provided us with certain websites to give us ideas for our lessons. I found the additional reading, the book by Andew Wright to be extremely helpful as to how to conduct a storytelling class.
