Jakarta is a bustling Asian metropolis. A city of contrasts, there are all night discos and shining shopping malls, yet many of its people carry on centuries old traditions from all parts of Indonesia. It is also safer than you may have been led to believe.

Around half of our teacher are on their second or third year. They have decided to stay because they like living in Jakarta and they enjoy working for our school.

Our school is located in suburban Jakarta, about a 20 minute taxi ride from the city center. Teachers have the best of both worlds : a quiet place to live and all Jakarta has to offer not far away.

Most of our students attend high school or university, but we also have children's classes. Applicants with experience or a love for working with children are urged to apply.

We offer a competitive salary, which allows a comfortable lifestyle. The cost of living in Indonesia is very low. Teachers can easily afford frequent weekend outings and longer vacations explore all Indonesia has to offer.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The course structure looks very promising. I have great expectations for this course, and the age range studied (5-13) is perfect for my prospective work. What I want to focus on most are classroom management, and lesson planning to create fun and engaging classes for my students. I've had experience in the past in which I wasn't fully satisfied with the result of my lessons due to deficiencies in those two areas. This unit names the most common potential problems in the classroom and how a teacher can deal with them. Generally speaking the common sense, attention and care for the students may help to resolve most of the problems. The most difficult for me is the group with different levels. I find the pairing stronger students with weaker one the best solution as well as word searcher activity for those who finish quickly.
