Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is about teaching new language specialy vocabulary, grammar and functions. All of these are very important for teaching. Vocabulary is very important to the students, especially at the early stages when students are motivated to learn the basic words they need to get by in the language. Grammar is often said to be the tree trunk and branches of a language, that means a lot !When working overseas, there are areas of cultural differences that should be taken into consideration. A few general rules include; use formal greetings of the country until you find appropriate alternatives and never express political or social opinions unless you are certain your comments will not be misrepresented. It is best to dress modestly especially in a business environment.
