Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson focused on the two productive skills of language. Speaking and writing. It gave us different lesson ideas and also talked about the different sub skills that we should be concerned with while teaching each. I personally enjoyed learning the different techniques to encourage interaction as there is nothing more unfortunate than quiet students who would like to practice speaking. The differences between present simple, present perfect, present continuous and present perfect continuous are difficult to distinguish at first and require paying close attention to fully comprehend. This unit again reminded me of how much I take for granted my English knowledge and skills and how important it is that teachers understand these rules when teaching students of the language.
