Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered many aspects of pronunciation and its importance when teaching English. Most pronunciation is commonly focused on as individual sounds, which is quite obvious, although not important. I learned that the normal pattern of intonation in a statement is the rise/fall intonation, and the second most common intonation is the fall/rise pattern, which often portrays disagreement and surprise.Speaking and writing are both worked for one reason:to communicate.Teaching speaking can be flexible in the class,we can use controlled activities and creative communitcation to let students open their mouths.Writing although is very difficult but we shall not ignore it.There also many ways to practice them, not just let students write at home, but also let them find thier errors and try to correct them.
