Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I learned about various parts of speech, including verbs, adverbs, adjectives, nouns, pronouns, gerunds, articles and conjunctions.I learned about the roles each of these parts play in a sentence, and some of the exceptions of the English language. In the task sheet, I had to consider how I would teach these different parts of speech to students and provide example sentences. This unit discusses course books, how to evaluate their pros & cons, the advantages & disadvantages of the books and the various other aspects of choosing the right book for your course & students. Also, the difference between authentic & created source materials and how to best use them in relation to the level of your students; inaddition, sources for these created materials are given.
