Beijing Vilma Consulting Ltd. is an American-owned Education consulting firm that is dedicated to creating innovative staffing solutions to reputable educational institutions throughout mainland China. Our firm is currently piloting a project where we are staffing Native English teachers to work at our client’s private academies in Shandong Province. For TEFL qualified teachers looking to have a memorable professional development experience while teaching in China, please review our job description below and contact us if you are interested. We are looking to fill several positions with an immediate start date.

• Each successful applicant will be assigned a locale to reside within Shandong that is less than 2.5 hours from Beijing and 1.5 hours from Shanghai by Bullet Train.

• Teachers are expected to develop lesson plans with our staff and deliver these lessons up to our client’s standards.

• Teachers are receptive to client’s suggestions to enhance their teaching lessons.

• Teachers are expected to be positive cultural ambassadors to a part of China that is quite new to seeing foreign citizens.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit shows the composition of sentences and teaches the parts of speech that make up those sentences. Even though I am a native English speaker, I had forgotten many of the things talked about in this unit. I have always known what a verb is but never really knew that verbs were able to transitive or intransitive. I use English everyday and have enjoyed this unit of the course. In this unit, we covered troubleshooting for a few of the common issues that teachers come across when teaching English as a foreign language. I learnt that establishing rapport with the students is one of the most important things to do as it sets a base level of respect that will help immensely when it comes to helping the students deal with any other issue they might come across.
