This unit stressed the importance of understanding how students approach both written and spoken texts from the position of a receiver. This receptive language is important for both students and teachers because it makes up half of communication, and I learned several ways to facilitate this learning in the classroom. I hope to take these lessons and balance them properly in my English classroom in the future.I have devoted much more time to reflect upon the information acquired in this unit. First of all, the ESA and PPP teaching methods are truly most effective, however, I often do not think of a theory while making lesson plans. Therefore, it has been truly useful to revise once again the fundamentals of methodology. Furthermore, I am going to browse the Internet and watch a few lessons to get some inspirations.
