We are looking for young and motivated native English speakers to work as an ESL teacher. If you are interested, write me an e-mail and send me your Resumé® Thank you! About the city Located in the northeast part of the country. Mossoró ©³ a medium sized city. The closest beach is about 30 minutes from downtown, by car. There are about 250, 000 inhabitants here. Here, there are two web pages where you can find information about the city, the first one is in Portuguese and the second one is in English:
Contact us . About the School We are a small and very friendly school. We have had 5 other native English teachers in the past years. They were all from the U.S., we can give you their phone numbers, so you can talk and learn a little more about the experience of coming and teaching English with us. If you are interested, we can enroll you in a Portuguese course at the local University, without any charge. And this is the school's web page: Contact us About The Classes We have our own material. We provide all the training that you need to teach. What we offer you while you are here While you are here, you are going to live in one of the student's families. They will send you information and pictures of them and their house. They usually become very excited about the idea of having a foreign person at their homes. They will offer you room and board. You will only spend your own money with food if you, for any reason, don't eat at home. You will work at most 25 hours a week. The school will pay you monthly an amount of U$ 250, 00 (two hundred and fifty dollars), that is about R$650, 00 (Six hundred fifty Reais). We know that this money is not enough for anyone to live in any other country in the world, but here most of the population make R$ 290, 00 a month. The prices here are very low compared with any American or European countries. Visa and plane Tickets We don't sponsor visa or plane tickets expenses. We do provide all the documentation you will need to get a Cultural Visa (which is the one you will need to have this kind of job). Contact us for any further information. Send me an email if you are interested in coming and teaching here. Sincerely, Lyssa Marques Email:[email protected]

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

English is a lot more complicated than I expected. In this Unit it goes over teaching pronunciation and phonology. One thing that I have noticed the last time I was in China is that the not so confident English speakers never said a question in a question form. This unit talks about intonation and how important that is in English. It goes on to how we pronounce words and it talks about what part of our mouths that we use.The content of the unit presents a brief review of the past tenses of the English language. In total 4 tenses are introduced with the main information about when these tenses are used, their forms and aspects which should be paid attention to during teaching. The unit also offers some ideas on what activities should to be introduced to students to make learning of the subject in question more entertaining and efficient.
