Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was very informative and useful, however, even though it stated that it is a broad overview of phonology and phonetics, I found that there was simply too much information to learn and to successfully absorb all of the details to comfortably take the unit test. I believe that the unit should be divided into two parts that would allow a more detailed and thorough study period.Unit three focused on theories methods and techniques. In this unit I have learned about the different types of methodologies and what methodology is best to be used in a particular situation. I have also learned about the engage-study-activate lesson (ESA) and the different types of ESA lessons. I have also learned about the difference between mistakes and errors and giving feedback.
