Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I found it interesting that English has 7 different future tenses and how two present tenses imply future actions. The other languages I speak make it very clear what tense one is communicating in but I hadn't considered how different English is. I can understand how learners of English as a foreign language can make mistakes with the formulas for future tenses, especially with the various forms of 'to be'.Being organized is important to help the class run smoothly. One example is to be ready to chat to the students as they come to class. This will break the ice and get them in the mood for learning. This lesson focused on the importance of planning lessons which outlines for each day what to teach and what activities that will help the students understand and enjoy in order to help them with their English.
