Can I replace a lost TEFL certificate?

If you have lost your TEFL certificate, the first step is to contact the organization that issued it. Most TEFL course providers keep records of completed courses and can confirm whether you successfully earned your certification. You may be asked to provide information such as your full name at the time of study, email address used for registration, course type, approximate completion date, and proof of identity. Depending on the provider, you may be able to request a replacement hard copy, a digital certificate, or an official confirmation of completion. Some providers may charge an administrative or postage fee, especially if a printed certificate needs to be reissued and mailed internationally. If your certificate was issued by ITTT, you should contact ITTT directly with your course details so the support team can check your records and explain the available replacement or verification options. It is also a good idea to keep a digital scan of any replacement certificate and store it in more than one location, such as cloud storage and a personal device. Employers may ask to see proof of TEFL certification, so having quick access to a verified copy can make job applications easier.
