In this unit, I learned what the difference of productive skills for speaking and writing. Both are very different but have the same goal that is to communicate. I also learned the difference from an accuracy lesson and fluency lesson. Accuracy focuses on correct language that is controlled by the teacher and fluency allows students experiment and be creative with the language.Receptive skills include reading and listening skills. These two skills are equally important. As for reading, students may have more chance to understand as the text is captured on the paper, but for listening, students need to learn how to capture the important words to understand the meaning, in case they can?t listen to all the conversation, as they can only hear once.
