In this TEFL review, Boh discusses his experience on the 120-hour online TEFL course without tutor support from ITTT. He found that the course exceeded his expectations with plenty of information covering both grammatical features of the English language and strategies for dealing with different students.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
I learnt ways to identify differences in constructing verb tenses. Like in present continuous how to make the affirmative sentences, negative sentences and question sentences. Non progressive verbs which is not usually used in a continuous forms. I also learnt new teaching ideas that will help me make new games in class for my students to enjoy and understand and learn English easier. This is the final unit and it covered troubleshooting in the classroom. I found this unit particularly useful when concerning large classes and the use of the students' native language. There are both things I have problems with regularly. I also found some of the things recommended for the first lesson useful, for example: the board game is an approach I hadn't previously considered.
