Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is clear and concise. What we know about present, we can use the same principle in the past. It is true that we seldom use past perfect continuous on a daily basis but it is good to know about its existence to learners who wish to go to a higher level of learning. One suggestion on this unit is to draw a time line and explain tenses on it. Perhaps some students can comprehend easier by visualisation.Finishing this unit I personally understand how tricky and difficult teaching Pronunciation & Phonology.Pronunciation is the most important and difficult problem that non-native English speakers have to face when studying English. Improper pronunciation can lead to negative impression, misunderstanding and ineffective communication.I learned some new techniques and knowledge that I will apply in the teaching.
