Teach TEFL in Liverpool

We are recruiting a team of teachers and two Directors of Studies for two summer residential summer programmes. One based at a prestigous boarding school in Lancashire and the other is an 'English and Football' programme run in conjunction with Liverpool Football Club.

Teachers must have a minimum TEFL or equivalent and Directors of Studies a DELTA or equivalent.

Applicants should have a strong background working with juniors aged 12-17 years. All positions are fully residential and duties will include teaching and supervising activities, meals, airport transfers, all duties usually associated with summer schools.

Compensation for teachers from £270/week with performance related bonus on completion of contract.

Compensation for Directors of Studies from £400/week with performance related bonus on completion of contract.

All meals and accommodation will be provided.

acronym call stands for computer aided language learning. the use of video camera in the classroom is that it can be used as part of an activity. it is for the teacher to evaluate their performance. worksheets is a teaching aid that is used for a controlled grammar exercise during the study stage of an ESA lesson. circling the language item is least acceptable when highlighting specific language on the board.In this chapter I learned in depth how to teach in classes with different backgrounds. A few examples are when the class is multilingual, when the class are beginners, when the class are very young, and when the class is based on business/ occupation. I learned some valuable techniques for engage, activate, and study phases for the Business English students and I am very excited to be able to put them to use.
