English Home European Language Center in Adana, Turkey has been teaching English, German and French since 1998.We are currently seeking a full-time TEFL qualified native English teacher for an immediate start. Native English teachers must hold a university degree and TEFL certificate. We are looking for out-going, energetic teachers who are proficient in MS PowerPoint and Word.

English Home provides an on-going, in-house training programme to encourage teachers in their professional development. At present, English Home is the only language school in Adana with this distinction.

Speaking and writing are the productive skills of language. In writing we do not focus so much on penmanship as it is very personal. In speaking accuracy and fluency are important and taught differently. Some activities used to assist us in teaching some speaking skills include controlled, guided, and creative communication activities. Spelling is important as a misspelt word can totally change a words meaning.I learned a lot of 'Teaching new language- vocabulary, grammar, functions' from this unit. Students need to do four things (new language be exposed to it, understand its meaning, understand how it's constructed, be able to practise and produce it) and I learned how to apply ESA lesson to the student.
