Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit provides several different methods for learning a foreign language. An extensive overview of the ESA method was outlined in this unit. The three stages of the ESA method are Engage, Study, and Activate. Straight Arrow, Boomerang, and Patchwork are three types of ESA lessons covered in this unit. Finally, tips on how to properly give corrections in the classroom were also shown.learning about the methods used in language teaching was very useful. learning about the stages of an ESL lesson was of great benefit. I didn't actually know that I was using these stages before. the example activities for each stage also were useful. I can use them in my lessons. finally learning about correction, when, how and how much it should be used in a lesson was also very useful.
