The concept of authentic and non-authentic texts is new to me. I can see how reading real, simple magazine articles for an intermediate-level student would be exciting and encouraging. There's a lot of short fiction that could serve that purpose too. In using written texts, movies, interviews and songs, the students are also introduced to the culture of the language they are this unit I`ve refreshed my memory about parts of speech, took notice on which rules I should concentrate more - take more attention in articles(especially zero articles as they are not as simple as they may seem and I think I never gave them proper attention. Also, this unit helped to build a system of parts of speech and understand the valuable meaning of each one in the family:)
